Calvin joined the team at Lazy W Ranch as Operations Manager in December of 2012. Originally from Ruidoso, NM, and with a background in Facilities management, Calvin answered God’s
call to the camping ministry as Facilities Manager in 2011. In January of 2020, Calvin moved into the position of Site Director. Now in his 10th year of management in the camping ministry, Calvin brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and wisdom. If not in the office, you will find Calvin either visiting with campers, assisting in the kitchen, or "putting out fires". Calvin loves to fish, garden and spend time with his family - especially his Grandson!
Natalie joined the Lazy W Ranch staff in 2013. She is responsible for each retreat group in planning meals, schedules, and dietary needs, while managing all food service staff. Natalie has a Bachelor's Degree from UC Santa Barbara, and is licensed by ServSafe® as a Food Service Manager. Natalie serves up several specialties, but her background in culinary arts and as a Caterer makes camp food taste wonderful.

Raised in United Methodist Camping of the Cal-Pac/Desert SW Conference(s), Sheryl has been involved in the camping ministry for most of her life. It was a summer camp at Mingus Mountain United Methodist Camp where she gave her life to Christ. As a teenager, Sheryl's first job was working in the kitchen at Camp Kailani in Hawaii, and feels she has been brought "full circle" by God in returning to work here at Lazy W in the same Conference where her parents accepted the call to camping ministry! Sheryl loves working alongside her husband, hiking, camping, road trips, fresh roasted coffee and most of all - family!
