Financial Aid - Summer Camp
A Note About Summer Camp Costs:
Lazy W Ranch camp fees which individuals, families and churches pay help to provide for daily room and board for campers and volunteer staff. The fees also help with program material and equipment costs. For some events, transportation must be provided, as well as fees paid to adventure, sports & other vendors. Except for a limited number of campsite staff and students on our Summer Program Staff, our events are generously staffed by a multitude of Christian volunteers. These volunteers – counselors and special program resource folks – make our summer program possible. Lazy W Ranch prices are at or below the average for similar camp programs, and we do everything possible to keep costs down, while maintaining the best possible program, safety and spiritual standards for your child’s mountaintop experience at Lazy W Ranch.
Sources of Financial Aid
There are two primary sources of financial aid.
-
United Methodist Church or Other Church Camperships: If you are a member of a United Methodist Church, you should check with your own church to see if they have any money available to help you attend a summer camp event at Lazy W Ranch. Many United Methodist churches specifically raise money for children, youth, and families to attend the conference camping program. If you do not attend a United Methodist Church, you may want to check with your church to see if they have any money available to help you attend a summer camp event at Lazy W Ranch.
-
Local Church Campership: Financial aid is available through a Campership Program. These camperships are to help campers and their friends who need additional assistance to be able to afford to go to camp.Talk with your pastor and youth director. Raise awareness and funds within your local church!
