Site Support (Maintenance/Grounds/Housekeeping): 

​

• Maintenance:  weed eating, painting, mowing, leaf removal

• Performs cleaning functions of grounds and facilities as needed

• Cleans cabins, rest rooms, camp buildings

• Moves materials and supplies to appropriate areas in camp as requested

• Assists in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age and older

• Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, curiosity, and positive attitude.

• Run chainsaw, weed eater, operate machinery (or willingness to learn)

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, reach with hands and arms; climb hills; work on uneven terrain

• Personal vehicle

Schedule:

• Flexibility in scheduling

• 30-40 hours/week

• Temporary to part-time

Education:

• High School or equivalent (required)

Year-Round Camp and Retreat Ministry Intern :

 

As a member of the Cal Pac staff, the Camp and Retreat Ministry Intern assists with and learns from all aspects of camp and retreat ministry at the site for a period of 10-12 months.  This includes learning, leading and providing staff support with program, hospitality, food service, maintenance, housekeeping, administration and outreach as led by the Site Director and Department heads.  The internship will include specific learning goals for the intern which will be supervised and led by the Director.

Requirements:

• 18 years of age and older

• Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, curiosity, and positive attitude.

• Be involved as a support staff person in all aspects of the site ministry so as to learn in a comprehensive way what is involved in camp and retreat ministry.

• 10-12 month Commitment required

• Education:  High School Diploma
